HOW EASY IS THE SIGN TO INSTALL?
Super easy! Everything you need to install your sign is included in the box. We offer two forms of wall fixing, you simply need to choose the best one to suit your needs. Our self adhesive signs simple stick to your wall, however if you went for the locator fixings version for your sign, all you need is a drill with a 6mm drill bit.

WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE TO CHOOSE FROM?
Our stylish range of signs come in many colours and finishes which you can mix and match to suit your property. With face colours ranging from black, grey and white. And background lettering options including gold, silver black and white. How will you create yours?

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME WHEN I ORDER A NEW SIGN?
All of our signs are lovingly handmade by us and bespoke to each order placed. This takes time to complete and we need suitable time to work through each order. This means processing design files, preparing and cutting materials, setting up production on our various machines and letting adhesives cure.
We can sometimes rush your order through for special occasions, but never at the expense of quality. We aim to dispatch each order within a week of being placed.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY SIGN?
Our signs are made from the highest grade materials and made to withstand all forms of weather from the mundane to the extreme. Your sign will mostly look after itself really, but if you do want to give it a quick clean any standard household cleaners or soap and water will work a treat.
MY SIGN ARRIVED DAMAGED, HELP?
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will then evaluate the issue and make it right.
MY SIGN IS WRONG, HELP?
If your sign has arrived and it isnt quite what you ordered please contact us immediately. We will then evaluate the issue and do our best to make it right.
Please note, no refunds or exchanges will be made for spelling errors typed in while making your purchase. It is very important to spell your information correctly for us to produce your sign correctly.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
All of our products are custom made to order so we’re unfortunately not able to accept a return for these items. Please make sure any relevant information is entered correctly and the design you choose matches your taste before placing your order.
The one exception to this rule is if your order arrives damaged for any reason. This can unfortunately happen from time to time, although we’re working with our courier partners to actively reduce this.
We personally package up every order in highly protective packaging before being collected from our courier. Each order is packaged suitably for transit anywhere in the world.
The legal bit:
Buying items online fall under the ‘Consumer Contracts Regulations’ which entitle you to cancel and return your order within 14 days. Our custom products are ‘a tailor-made or personalised item’ and are an exception to these regulations.
On the occasion that we do accept a return, we ask that you pay the return postage for this.
PRINTED VINYL
WHERE CAN I USE YOUR PRINTED VINYL?
Our printed vinyl is suitable for use almost anywhere you can imagine!
We offer two different types of vinyl for purchase, each with their own strengths for use on different areas.
1. Standard Vinyl
Our standard vinyl is our original, tried and tested vinyl for covering all over different parts of your home and upcycling projects such as:
- Furniture – TV units, tables, benches, cabinets, dressers
- Walls – while it can be applied to painted walls and wallpaper, it can damage these on removal so care should be taken before applying
- Kitchen – worktops, backsplash, tiles, cupboards, appliances
- Bathroom – tiles, backsplash, bath panels
- Fire place
- Stairs
2. Transparent Frosted (Window /privacy vinyl)
Frosted vinyl with a transparent printed finish, perfect for glass and windows and adding a bit of stylish privacy to bathroom windows.
Please Note:
Like any product application, we always advise trying it on a discreet area similar to where you want to apply it. This helps to ensure the material is suitable for use and any coating such as paint or varnish is not removed with it.
HOW EASY IS IT TO APPLY THE VINYL KIT?
Applying your vinyl wallpaper is really simple and easy to do. You can also check out our easy to follow installation guides at the how to section on our website.
IS YOUR VINYL REMOVABLE?
All our vinyl is removable and easy to do. If you’re looking to change your design or upcycle further.
To remove your vinyl, simply pick at one of the corners of the vinyl until you’re able to get a whole edge free and pull gently. Be precise and slow while you pull your vinyl away, you need to make sure that you don’t pull too hard or too quickly when removing the vinyl or damage may occur. With surfaces like worktops, glass and tiles, you can be a little firmer with it.
If you’re struggling to remove the vinyl, try running a hair dryer or heat gun (If you’re better equipped) lighlty over the surface before you pull the vinyl away.
When you’ve peeled off the vinyl, there may be a small amount of the adhesive left on the surface. A damp sponge with some soap will aid in cleaning up your surface. If you’re having trouble, try using a citrus based cleaner. Or for the more extreme marks an isopropyl based solution.
While our vinyl can be applied to painted walls and wallpaper, it can damage these on removal so care should be taken before applying.
HOW MANY DO I NEED TO ORDER?
You need to spend a good amount of time measuring up the surface you want to cover. It sounds silly, but we’ve seen a few people underestimate their measurements and come up a bit short.
All of our designs are designed in a way to be completely seamless, so you can match panels of vinyl together quickly and easily for a repeat pattern across multiple rolls of vinyl.
HOW BIG ARE YOU PRINTED VINYL DESIGNS?
All of our designs are printed per roll at 1000mm high x 600mm wide. You simply need to find a design you like and order multiple rolls in a quantity to suit your needs.
DO YOU HAVE SAMPLES AVAILABLE OF YOUR VINYL DESIGNS?
One thing that we definitely cannot recommend enough is to order a sample of a design you’re interested in. Colours and designs can look slightly different on screen than they do once printed, so we really encourage you to get a sample or two in advance.
We know that some of you have big projects plans, so we really encourage you to buy a couple of samples before placing a large order.
All of our printed and graphics products are custom made to order so we’re unfortunately not able to accept a return for these items if you don’t like the colour once your order arrives.

WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR AN ORDER?
Every order placed through Design It: Sign & Print is printed specifically for you, to the specification that you choose when placing the order online. And printed by our local team in Manchester, England.
We aim to print your order within 5 days, during our twice weekly print runs. Once your order has been printed, we’ll schedule it to be picked up with our courier who then deliver it on a next-day tracked service, or 3-5 day service internationally.

Get in touch! We might well be able to expedite it. We aim to come back to all queries within 24 hours and will be able to let you know if a quicker turnaround is possible.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Of course! We ship worldwide! Shipping costs apply in different areas of the world but we can ship directly to your door wherever you are. Our delivery time will be a little longer than normal for international deliveries, depending on your location.
I WANT TO ADD TO MY ORDER - CAN I?
Sure, provided we haven’t already sent your order, we can add to it no problem.
Once you’ve confirmed with us that it hasn’t already been sent (or booked with the courier), we can add something to your order for you. Please be aware this may delay your order longer than the usual times.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER - CAN I?
Provided we have not started any printing on the order we can cancel it for you. Just get in touch by email and let us know. We will aim to respond within 24 hours to confirm the cancellation (or discuss any problems) and then we can cancel and refund you.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
All major online payments and cards are accepted. All orders are to be paid for directly through the online store upon placing your order before any printing will take place.

DIY VEHICLE KITS
WHAT DO THE KITS INCLUDE?
Each kit includes a full set of custom decals for your van/vehicle, easy to understand fitting instructions and a fitting squeegee.
HOW MANY DECALS DO I GET?
Each decal kit includes 1x bonnet, 1x rear and both sides.
WHAT CAN I INCLUDE WITHIN MY DECAL DESIGN?
The design can include company name, contact information, bullet point lists, basic logos, social media logos. In a selection of colours. More complex logos and wording can be supplied as a printed and laminated vinyl print at extra cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE MY KIT DURING INSTALLATION?
Replacement sections should a fitting error occur can be easily ordered again, priced at a reduced rate on material cost and prep time.
WHAT VINYL DO YOU USE?
We strictly use only the best “Metamark” 8 year guranteed, premium exterior grade vinyl. Which includes easy installation and longevity against sun UV and rain damage.
WHAT IS THE GENERAL TURNAROUND TIME FOR ORDERING A DECAL KIT?

Each decal kit includes everything you need to install yourself at home with a basic fitting kit. This basic kit to install includes an easy to follow installation guide and fitting squeegee. A more complete fitting kit can be purchased as an extra via the online store.
DO YOU SELL A COMPLETE VINYL DECAL FITTING KIT?
A basic fitting kit is included with every purchase, however a more complete kit can be purchased via the online store. This kit includes an easy to follow installation guide, 1x felt edged squeegee, 1x cutting blade, 1x bottle of alcohol based cleaner, 1x tape measure and 1x roll of masking tape.
HOW LONG WILL THE DECAL KIT LAST?
We use extremely durable, weather resistant and high quality exterior grade vinyl for all of our products. The lifetime of your graphics will depend on the how you treat them, but you should expect them to last through many years of life if looked after.
HOW SHOULD I CLEAN MY VINYL DECALS?
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your graphics to fully adhere to your vehicle before the first clean.
We advise not to use any form of jet sprays to clean your vehicle as this will damage them over time and may even remove the lettering and smaller graphics entirely.
The best way to wash your vehicle is by hand with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Using a mild solvent and alcohol-free cleaner. After a complete wash and rinse, let the vehicle air dry.
WILL THE DECALS DAMAGE MY VEHICLE?
Should your vehicle graphics become damaged, We can assist in creating and supplying replacement graphics. All design work is kept on file, so it would be really easy to workout what you need and send over a quote to fix any damage. Follow the advice above to keep them looking at their best!

Our chicken coops are made from high quality external grade, CNC cut aluminium composite material, delivered straight to your door flat pack style in a wide range of colours.

Delivered straight to your door flat pack style with easy to follow instructions to get you up and running as fast as possible.
HOW MANY CHICKENS IS THE STANDARD COOP SUITABLE FOR?
Our standard size chicken coop is suitable for 4 standard size birds or 6 smaller birds.
HOW DO I COLLECT THE EGGS FROM MY COOP?
The externally mounted nesting box has a top opening lid for easy access. Complete with hinges and a locking mechanism perfect for adding a padlock for that added security.
WILL THE COOP GET HOT BEING ALUMINIUM?
Our range of chicken coops have built in air vents incorporated into the design on the front and rear. This enables air to flow directly through the coops freely and you can be safe in the knowledge the coop will not reach any high temperatures from the sun.

Delivered straight to your door flat pack style, each coop kit comes with easy to follow instructions and everything you need to get you up and running. Each piece from the kit slots into each other, and is self supportive in design. There is however some self assembly and installation involved for the roosting bars and hinges which is all explained in the easy to follow instructions.
