Return Policy

Can I return or exchange an item?

We’re confident that you’re going to love your order, but if you have any questions or concerns. Please get in touch and we’ll come back to you as soon as we can.

Every product purchased through our business or website is custom made to order, so we’re unfortunately not able to accept a return for these items.


One thing that we definitely cannot say enough, is to read our “how to” guides, FAQ pages, and ask any questions you may have before placing your order.

Our custom made products are ‘a tailor-made or personalised item’ and are an exception to the Consumer Contracts regulations.

All discounted items purchased in sales are non refundable.

Colour variation

One of the most important things to remember is that colours can vary from your phone screen to your computer screen to real life, so if you are wanting to make a large purchase and are worried about the colour, having a small sample made may be the best way of you knowing exactly what you’re getting in regards to colour.


As all of our work is created bespoke for you, we’re not able to accept returns on them if you don’t like the colour or the product once received.

International customers

Can I get a refund on an item if its made it to my country & customs is too high?


At checkout you will pay the shipping charge, but please be aware that if you are receiving an international order you will be liable for any import tax and charges that your country sets for the import of these goods. By shopping with us you agree to this & understand all our products are made to order and are non refundable.


These charges vary by country, so please check with the relevant authorities in your country on what the import tax value will be before shopping with us.

The exception to this is if it arrives damaged for any reason which can happen from time to time, although we’re working with our delivery partners to reduce this. If your order arrives damaged please take photographs & email sales@designitsignandprint.co.uk so we can look into it for you. Please keep the product & the packaging as we may need this to arrange a collection. As always, if you have any questions, please do get in touch!

My order has arrived but it’s been damaged. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the damage, packaging and postage label in question and email our customer service team via sales@designitsignandprint.co.uk with the details. Please keep the product & the packaging as we may need this to arrange a collection. As always, if you have any questions, please do get in touch!

The Legal Bit

Buying items online falls under the ‘Consumer Contracts Regulations’ which entitle you to cancel and return your order within 14 days. However all of our products are ‘a tailor-made or personalised item’ and are an exception to these regulations.

On the occasion that we do accept a return, we ask that you pay the return postage for these and we may charge a fee for restocking the items. We also may refuse the return if the item is not returned in a suitable condition.


If you purchase any non-printed products from us, you have the right to return them and you can let us know that you intend to return it by contacting us. You’ll have 14 days to return the item, and we’ll process your refund as soon as we can but within 14 days of receiving the item. We ask that you pay the return postage for those items.
